Little bird gets a ride!

Little Bird Passenger 43012 is a BARN SWALLOW.

This is not a sea bird, and far from it. It probably ended up on the NOAA buoy out of exhaustion while on spring migrating from South America (Venezuela?) back to North America. It is pretty incredible to think a small bird like this travels thousands of miles every year. The NOAA buoy had a few big sea birds on it, and little bird did not hesitate to get a ride with me on November Alpha.
