Friday Fun: Fuschia
It's Friday Fun Takeover Post with Brand Ambassador Alison Pinto
Colors used : Hansa Yellow Light, Cobalt Blue, Carbazole Violet, New Gamboge and Opera Pink
“I’ve always wanted to paint these beautiful Fuchsia flowers. I was delighted to have a chance to do so recently, at a tea plantation overlooking the clouds. Videography was shot by the amazing @lisapintoart. This painting will always call back those precious moments. In my fancy, these blooms resemble tiny little dancers twirling with their arms flared out! What do you think?
Friday Fun is about just doing a little sketch, having fun with it. The mindfulness of a little doodling session quiets the mind, while the fact that its “just a quick sketch” sets you free from the pressure of results and lets you simply enjoy the process! The exercise might amount to nothing other than relax you, but the fun of playing might just surprise you!!”- Alison Pinto
Key to Alison’s process
“…I wet the surface with clear water, sometimes randomly, and drop in juicy paint and enjoy watching it burst across the dampened surface. I love working wet-into-wet because that’s when you see the pigments play best.” - Alison Pinto
