Upcoming Disney Live Action Movies? How many live action movies will Disney make? We answer ALL of your questions and go over every Disney Live Action movie that will be released from 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025!

What’s up my fellow Binge Travelers! First of all are you excited for the upcoming live action Mulan Trailer? It looks awesome... we have also uncovered every Disney Live Action movie that is scheduled to be released from now until 2025 along with some very special secret details regarding multiple films on this list! We have also released videos for every upcoming Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney Animated feature coming to a theater near you. There’s so much to unpack so let’s get into it.

To begin 2020 Disney will be bringing Mulan to life in an all new live action remake of the classic Disney animation. The live action version is set to be an action pact adventure following a female chinese Warrior who takes on the evil emperor played by Jet Li. Mulan will release in theaters March 27th, 2020.

Disney will also be taking inspiration from Game of Thrones with their next remake of King Arthur “The Sword and The Stone” which follows a young King Arthur on a journey with wizard Merlin. The new King Arthur remake will be written and directed by the same person who directed Game of Thrones and will be arriving on Disney Plus in 2020 as well.
Next up we have a sequel to the Live Action Jungle Book movie directed by John Favrau, who was also the director of the Iron Man films as well as the Live Action Remake of The Lion King… so it is safe to say this movie is in very good hands. With the first Live Action Jungle Book movie producing over a billion dollars of course the sequel can’t be far behind with a scheduled release date of October 19th 2020.

To begin 2021 Disney will be bringing one of their most beloved characters to life in a highly anticipated Live Action TinkerBell movie starring Reece Witherspoon. Tinkerbell will be sprinkling her pixie dust in theaters March 12, 2021.

After that magical encounter we have yet another live action remake that was set to be released in late 2020 but was pushed back into 2021 that movie being a 101 dalmatians spinoff centered around the villainous Cruella de Vil. Let me tell you as a child Cruella de Vil was the scariest personI had ever seen, so I am personally terrified to see this movie starring Emma Stone as Cruella but will be in theaters May 28th, 2021

And lucky for us we get yet another live action release in 2021 possibly starring Zendaya as The Little Mermaid. Few details regarding the film have been released as of now the most we know is that the live action version will be following the same story as the original and that you can swim to theaters under the sea July 30th 2021

Another addition to the 2021 line up is a bit odd… but I am still very excited for it and that is a live action remake of Lilo and Stitch. I am breaking the 4th wall here but I have no idea how a live action Lilo and Stitch would even work… but let’s see what Disney can some up with. No official release date has been confirmed but I suspect a release in 2021.

Now for the following movies Disney has done something a bit strange… as of now Disney has released the dates they will be releasing their live action movies but the haven’t told us which movie will be releasing on those days.

So I did some detective work and made the most accurate list I could based on the rumors. Again, remember the dates are confirmed but the movie coming out on those dates are not, but I think I am pretty accurate.

First we have a live action remake coming October 8th 2021 and with the recent live action Aladdin movie making over a billion dollars a sequel is on it’s way.

Second we have release on November 19th 2021 and a live action remake of The Hunchback of Notre Dame is all but confirmed.

Third we have a release on May 27th 2022 and there is absolutely no way Disney doesn’t make a live action version of the first Disney Movie ever created… Snow White and The 7 Dwarfs.

Fourth we have a release July 8th 2022 my guess is that they would recreate Peter Pan for this spot.

Fifth we have a release October 7th 2022 which will most likely be a movie centered around Prince Charming according to rumors.

Sixth we have a release November 4th 2022 and an Oliver and Company remake starring Ice Cube has been confirmed… a bit of an odd casting but I’m sure they can make it work.

Seventh we have a release February 17, 2023 which is most likely to be a live action Pinocchio.

The following dates have also been confirmed for a live action release all in the year 2023 but are

May 26, 2023
July 14, 2023
August 11, 2023
October 6, 2023
December 15, 2023

And we can also through in the oddball live action remake of something called James and The Giant Peach coming summer of 2025 and will directed by Tim Burton.
