Operator (That's Not The Way It Feels) - Jim Croce (cover)

About this gem: first song of the B side from Jim's debut album "You Don't Mess Around With Jim" (April 1972). Also recorded at The Hit Factory in NYC on October 11, 1971. Jim on vocals and acoustic guitar (Gibson Dove), Maury Muehleisen on vocal harmonies & acoustic lead guitar (Martin D-35). There is also drums, bass guitar and piano (besides vocals) on the studio version. My take is just the two acoustic guitars with vocals, as they used to play it live.

Recorded using a 2016 Gibson Country Western (Jim's guitar part) and a 2004 Martin D-35 (Maury's guitar part).
