To insert or delete rows and columns in Excel, follow these steps:

Inserting Rows and Columns:

Select the row or column: Click on the row or column header to select the entire row or column.
Right-click and choose "Insert": Right-click on the selected row or column header and choose "Insert" from the context menu.
Choose the insertion location: A dialog box will appear asking where you want to insert the new row or column. Choose "Shift cells down" to insert below the selected row or "Shift cells to the right" to insert to the right of the selected column.
Deleting Rows and Columns:

Select the rows or columns: Click on the row or column headers to select the rows or columns you want to delete.
Right-click and choose "Delete": Right-click on the selected rows or columns and choose "Delete" from the context menu.
Additional Tips:

You can also use keyboard shortcuts to insert or delete rows and columns. To insert a row, press "Ctrl+Shift+Insert" (Windows) or "Command+Shift+Insert" (Mac). To delete a row, press "Ctrl+-".
To insert or delete multiple rows or columns at once, select the desired number of rows or columns before using the "Insert" or "Delete" command.
If you accidentally delete a row or column, you can undo the action by pressing "Ctrl+Z" (Windows) or "Command+Z" (Mac).
