Here are the 6 ways to Invest $100 in 2021:
1. Flip Items
Essentially what you're going to do is to look for items in which you know the market SUPER well, either on Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace, or Nextdoor. You're going to buy underpriced items, negotiate for underpriced items, and then try to resell them for a profit on any of the other marketplaces.

Another great way you can leverage flipping stuff with 0 risk at all, is to stalk the FREE items section on those marketplaces. Whenever there's a free item listed, try to contact them right away, pick it up, and relist them. This carries virtually no risk besides your time, and relisting them can bring you an infinite return.

2. Low cost ETFs
ETF stands for exchange traded fund which is an investment that if you buy once, you automatically buy into everything that it owns.

An ETF is a good way to diversify your $100, and to invest in a lot of companies for one low cost. The S&P 500 ETF has averaged an annual return 13.4% in the last 10 years, so if you invested in it 10 years ago, your $100 investment would be worth about $351 today.

3. Individual Stocks
This is going to have higher risk when it comes to investing in individual stocks, but also higher reward.

4. Education / Yourself
When you have $100, an easy way to make even more money is through investing in your own education so that you can have a new set of skills to go out INTO the market and be able to get a higher hourly wage or command a higher price per project that you're doing.

5. High Yield Savings Accounts
I think if you have the choice between your money sitting in a normal checking account or a HYSA - definitely put it in a HYSA.

Right now HYSA accounts pay around 0.5% interest, which is not that much, but its better than nothing.

6. Retirement Accounts
Contributing to your retirement is one of the essential core investments that will have a significant impact on the rest of your life. Because of how compound interest and returns work, the earlier you start investing in your retirement, the better.

Popular methods are either the traditional IRA, or Roth IRA - both are individual retirement accounts that you can have in addition to a 401k from your employer.

In retirement accounts, since you can't touch the money without penalty until your'e retired, you'll want to invest in safe investments that you can hold onto for 30-40+ years.

7. Bonus: Side Hustles
There are a lot of side hustles out there, and a lot of them don't take that much money to start, especially if you have a skill already. In this method you're going to try to make more money so you can invest more money.

For example, you could do online music lessons or online tutoring via Zoom. You could start an Etsy store and sell craft goods on there. You could start a power washing business where you invest $100 into a power washer and try to book jobs for the same day.
