Structure of the Act
This Act contain
• 36 Sections (Divided into 4 Parts)
• 4 Schedules

Schedule I: list of injuries deemed to result in permanent
• Part i : Total disablement
• Part ii : Partial disablement
SCHEDULE II: list of persons who, subject to the provisions of section 2(1)(dd), are included in the definition of employees
SCHEDULE III: list of occupational diseases
SCHEDULE IV: factors for working out lump sum equivalent of compensation amount in case of permanent disablement and death
