Great Allegheny Passage & C&O Canal - Bike Touring Pittsburgh to Harrisburg, PA
This video is from 2017 that I never quite finished editing.
Our journey from Pittsburgh, PA to Harrisburg, PA via the Great Allegheny Passage and the C&O Canal Trail was a long and rough one. It was the first time I had ever rode 6 days straight and the first time Alaina had ever been on the bike for more than 45 miles.
In total we rode 300 miles, taking the GAP then the C&O until the Hancock, MD area where we eventually got onto the road and Route 11 north of Hagerstown until we got back home.
I absolutely loved this trail and I'm hoping to get a chance to do it again this summer.
