Woodturning-Wormy Oak and Epoxy
This was a dry dusty piece of oak that was full of worm holes. I had found these before and wanted to see what it would look like with the worm holes cleaned and filled with resin. Well I finally took the time when I next had the chance. I believe this was my first epoxy resin project. I wanted a good one. As you can see the mess it makes to turn it is enormous. And getting that stuff off everything is a job. Unlike saw dust, all the shaving la need to be cleaned up and thrown in the trash. I spread most of my wood turning waste on trees and gardens. This project turned out well. A friend of mine wanted to give it to his wife as a gift. I’m so happy someone liked my work enough to give it as a gift. Thank you for watching my videos and I hope you like it, please share with your friends and family.
