2009 Maverick 440 "Seismic Wave" | For Sale with Multihull Solutions

Designed by Phil Southwell and built by Maverick Yachts in South Africa, Seismic Wave was launched in Cape Town in 2009 as a 400 and extended in 2018 to a 440 with Maverick factory-manufactured hull extensions.

This two-owner catamaran is in good condition and easily sailed by a couple and includes a UV-protected bowsprit-mounted screecher.

Seismic Wave features a spacious and open upper kitchen and living area with warm and inviting decor. She has a generous owner’s cabin and two queen-sized guest cabins. Her extensive inventory includes a modern 1950-watt solar system, 1000-amp lithium battery bank, two-year-old standing rigging, kayaks, and a large, stylish NZ-made OC Tender ready to power to your reef.

Her first owner, a liveaboard family of four, crossed the Atlantic to enjoy the Caribbean for three years, while her current owner and his wife lived aboard for eight years cruising the Caribbean, USA, Central America, and the Pacific before heading to New Zealand for two years and revisiting the Pacific Islands before arriving in Australia in 2019. Post Covid, they have been enjoying the east coast of Australia, but now it’s time for a change.

With taxes paid in Australia, Seismic Wave is awaiting an adventure with new owners who are looking to live the dream part-time or full-time aboard. This proven bluewater catamaran awaits you to continue her circumnavigation or cruise the waters of Australia in comfort and safety.

Visit the Multihull Solutions website for full inventory and further information, and contact the team to arrange an inspection.
