LIFE of a 1950's HOUSEWIFE + BUSY MOM LIFE\ VINTAGE RECIPE

My mom inspired this video..Today I tried a new recipe from a 1950's cookbook and I also shared a glimpse of what life was like for a homemaker in the 50's! I also baked Levi's 1st birthday cake. We are busy as usual..I have a grocery and thrift haul! I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

RECIPE TO SWISS STEAK:
1 1/2 pounds round steak
2 tbls flour
1 tps salt
1/8 tps pepper
2 tablesppons of melted fat (or butter)
3 large onions
1 cup of hot water

Variations:
Add 1 green pepper
Add tomato juice instead of water
Add diced tomatoes.
