Spencer Pratt said a “very suspicious fire” struck a two-story commercial building at 1515 Palisades

Spencer Pratt said a “very suspicious fire” struck a two-story commercial building at 1515 Palisades Drive in Pacific Palisades Highlands, where his crystal business operated. Firefighters were dispatched Thursday evening; LAFD arson investigators responded to what was reported as a one-alarm fire with light smoke. The cause hasn’t been determined, and officials haven’t linked it to Pratt’s mayoral campaigning; the building superintendent told Palisadian-Post he didn’t believe the fire was campaign-related. Eyewitnesses reported two men exiting the building before the blaze erupted. The property has been undergoing roof remediation and was awaiting a permit; it previously housed Casa Nostra Ristorante, which closed after the Palisades Fire of early 2025 and never reopened. Pratt told the California Post that, while he would let investigators disclose details, the timing amid political tensions makes the incident “very suspicious” and possibly arson; investigators will determine motive.
