Using a Snowflake-Managed MCP Server with Copilot Studio

In this video, we show how to integrate Snowflake with Microsoft Copilot Studio using Snowflake-managed MCP servers.

Snowflake MCP server has been generally available since November 2025, but until recently it wasn’t possible to connect them to Copilot Studio due to protocol differences. In this walkthrough, we explain how that gap was resolved and demonstrate how you can now set up bi-directional communication between Copilot Studio and Snowflake.

Using this approach, Copilot Studio can talk directly to Snowflake, run tools, and generate insights through a conversational interface. We also show how Cortex Code (CoCo) helps simplify the setup and reduce friction when creating the MCP server.
