Need For Speed Payback - LV399 SRT Viper GTS Performance & Gameplay

Fully Upgraded Level 399 1093HP SRT Viper GTS race spec gameplay for Need For Speed Payback. Showcasing it's overall performance in 3 events and 1 online race. Performance/Speed Cards and stats + live tuning are shown at the end of the video. Played with keyboard and manual transmission.

Sorry for the boring online race, but I was happy that I nailed that Irohakaza jump which some of you reference it in my last Plymouth Barracuda video and both the Regera and 911 RSR user rage quit during the race was just icing on the cake.

Timeline:
0:06 - Mountain Run, Sprint Race
2:08 - Multiplayer Casual speedlist, Canyon Sights
4:47 - Silver Sprint, Sprint Race
9:00 - Noche De Muertos, Sprint Race
10:40 - Performance, Stats and Speed Cards + Live Tuning

SRT Viper GTS Race Spec Performance Review:
I remember in Need For Speed 2015, the Dodge Viper seems to be one of the top cars in the game. Unfortunately, it feels like they have nerfed it for NFS Payback.

If you are curious on how the unreleased Plymouth Barracuda handles, then I have to say the Viper GTS handles very similarly to the Barracuda, except the Barracuda is just a bit better. It has a very limited drift angle and it's loses a lot of speed when the drift angle gets large. It's average cornering speed is just average. It does however have great drift recovery speed, like the Barracuda. Response wise, it is a bit on the heavy side unfortunately, but manageable.

Acceleration wise both the engine and NOS is good but not amazing, kinda like the Barracuda too. And perhaps the biggest pet peeve of mine is it's gear ratio. 7 gears with the 7th gear will only grant you an extra 1 mph. 1. The 6th gear redlines at 233mph, and the top speed is 234-235mph. So you are given an ultra tall 7th gear for 2 mph. Similarly to NFS 2015's version where the 7th gear is for the remaining 4mph. So they both share the same shitty gear ratio.

How does it compare with 911 RSR and Regera:
2.5 seconds slower than the 911 RSR in Mountain Run. While the Viper is decent, it has lower overall accel and handling than the 911 RSR. Shame, it became weaker than the NFS 2015 version.

Soundtrack:
Pogo - Digitalism
Initial D - Crazy For Love
NFS World Soundtrack - Free Roam 1
Dash Berlin - Janeiro
