Timothee Chalamet on being daunted by The King, the dangers of toxic masculinity & the scope of Dune

Timothee Chalamet (the one and only Timmy C) is interviewed at the London Film Festival premiere of his movie The King which airs on Netflix. He stars with Robert Pattinson and Ben Mendelsohn and together they lead an all-star cast. Telling the story of King Henry V, the new film was co-written by Joel Edgerton and David Michôd for Michôd to direct. The cast includes Lily-Rose Depp, Sean Harris, Thomasin McKenzie, Tara Fitzgerald and Dean-Charles Chapman. The film premiered at the London Film Festival and Scott Davis and Colin Hart were on the red carpet for us.

He talks about being the realities of doing a film this size, and not becoming an action hero (thought he does talk about enjoying John Wick)
Hal, wayward prince and heir to the English throne, is crowned King Henry V after his tyrannical father dies. Now the young king must navigate palace politics, the war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life.
Synopsis: Hal (Timothée Chalamet), wayward prince and reluctant heir to the English throne, has turned his back on royal life and is living among the people. But when his tyrannical father dies, Hal is crowned King Henry V and is forced to embrace the life he had previously tried to escape. Now the young king must navigate the palace politics, chaos and war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life - including his relationship with his closest friend and mentor, the aging alcoholic knight, John Falstaff (Joel Edgerton).
