Slow EdTech for Deeper Adult Learning | Muhammad Imran bin Hassan | TEDxNewton
With the many, exciting new tools available for adult and workplace education, it seems that we should accelerate the adoption of such technologies. But, perhaps, we should slow it down instead! Watch and listen to find out why. Imran has been working with educators for 16 years, of which the last 4 was spent assessing, exploring and sharing creative and powerful ways of harnessing technology for learning. He is truly passionate about his work and always eager to connect with other educators, community leaders and facilitators. While he enjoys all aspects of his role, his favourite stage of a project is working with peers to understand their objectives. As everyone goes through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and the fun begins. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
