In relationships, "no deal" is better than getting yourself into a bad deal.

As my guest Heather DeSiena shares on this episode of the Divorce Curious Podcast, the cost of ignoring red flags for the sake of moving the relationship forward or because you really want to get married, ends up costing you far more in the end emotionally and financially.

While calling off an engagement or going through the pain of a breakup definitely sucks in that moment, it's far less painful and complex than having to get yourself out of a bad marriage and the excruciating process of negotiating a divorce.
