The Rosewood Fall - Stereo: Left (2005)

After Snax disbanded in 2001, Jim Roach (guitars) and Daniel Patterson (drums) joined their Westmont College friends Benjamin Holsteen (vocals and guitars) and Eric Palmquist (bass) in a band called The Rosewood Fall in 2002. The band recorded a 3-track demo that Jim played for his former bandmate Dave "Phoenix" Farrell over a lunch meeting and they were offered a deal with the Linkin Park owned record label Machine Shop Recordings in 2003. The band was completed later that year with the addition of Joel Pierson (synthesizers and samples), Jim's former bandmate in another group. After two years of unsuccessful attempts to make it in the music business, the band announced in July 2005 they'd be parting ways but first they would be releasing every song they had ever written in the form of two albums named Stereo: Left and Stereo: Right, amounting to a total of 32 tracks. Stereo: Left was released on August 14, 2005.
