Welcome to Bonaire! It's time to explore with us. We are so excited to welcome you to Bonaire. There is too much to see and do here.

I (Gladys) wanted to visit the floating bridge one last time for my birthday. I am going to miss this bridge because we are leaving Curacao and heading to Bonaire.

We have arrived in Bonaire after a 25-minute flight. Next, we check in our stay and hopped into our rental car as I (Gladys) shortly learned that our car didn't have any AC (Air Conditioner). We drove back to the airport to rent a car from Budget that AC. Because I dislike being hot and we will not run around the Island with AC. We picked up the car rental and our first stop was the capital of Bonaire Kralendijk.
It's time to explore with us. We loved exploring this small capital. It is so colorful. There are so many eateries, shops, bars, murals. Walking this town is so much fun. Loving the beautiful buildings, boutiques, and ice cream. Kenny is so greedy with his ice cream. I hit him on his belly, stole his ice cream, and ran lol.

We went on a walk along the promenade. We saw a pier and checked it out. Kenny was talking, and I was hot and cranky and just jumped off the pier into the water. OMG, it surprised Kenny that I did that. It was scary at first, but once in the water, it was quite fun. Kenny jumped in and joined. That was so much fun. We were going to head to the beach, then pool, but once we arrive I just wanted a hot shower and watch the sunset.

► WHO WE ARE?

We are Gladys & Kenny, from Long Island, NY. We've always had a passion for traveling. We finally made our dreams a reality. In January 2018 we downsized and take the necessary steps to pursue our dream, to travel full time for as long as we can. We rented our house, moved into our attached studio apartment, and continued to travel on a part-time basis until it prepared us for full-time travel. On June 30, 2019, we left to travel the world full-time. The first stop was Bali, Indonesia. It wasn't a simple decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once and we didn't want to live with any regrets. We want to document our journey, so we recently did so with vlogs on YouTube and Social Media.
