To get extra experience on the Tavern Pass you can unlock like 30 or so achievements that reward you with a couple thousand xp in total or in other words, it's kinda fun and you get like 2 levels on that Battle Pass for "free"

To maximize your Tavern Pass or Battle Pass in Hearthstone you should unlock as many achievements as possible by playing classes like Demon Hunter or Paladin. Hearthstone allows you to build decks with cards like Zephrys and Darkmoon Tonk and now with the Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion you can win even more games to get to legend easily.
