Making my first million dollars has taught me some valuable life lessons. Some were learnt the easy way, other the hard way. In this video, I go into depth about the concept of "Lifestyle Creep" where once you begin to start earning money, you look to live beyond your means, inflating your expenses as a percentage of your total income and acting like a kid in a candy store but with way more money to spend! One of the most important lessons is to always be looking over your shoulder, being a judge of good character is essential when you start earning more and more money. The ones closest to you can do the most damage and use you for your money instead of being real with you. Finally, the most important lesson of them all is to take your time, when you achieve success and wealth at a relatively early age, you must always remind yourself that you have decades ahead of you to enjoy your hard work, what I've found the hardest by achieving all these incredible milestones so early is that I am constantly having to ask myself whats next...
