The North Pennines - Cash Force and Bothies

This hike takes me to the rarely visited Cash Force waterfall in the North Pennines, then onwards to visit some of the unusual bothies and huts that can be found in the area. This video also shows what happens when things don't go according to plan and when failure occurs.

Route taken :- Leadgate (near Alston) - Riverside to Blackburn Bank - Track to Greencastle Plantation - Cash Force - Downstream to Smittersgill Burn - Smittersgill Head Mine - Melmerby Machine Shop - Maiden Way - Carlayne Leap - Blackburn Valley - Leadgate
