In this video on the “General Requirements for Grounding and Bonding” we’ll discuss bonding and grounding of electrical systems and equipment and explain exactly why these terms have two entirely different meanings and why it is so important that you understand the purposes of the two. We’ll explain electrical system “grounding” and also equipment “bonding” which essentially means that any current-carrying conductive materials (metal) that are likely to become energized, be connected to an “effective ground-fault current path.
