Research Method: List Experiment to Measure Intimate Partner Violence in Nairobi, Kenya | IPA

Self-reported data is prone to bias particularly when people are asked about sensitive matters. One such sensitive matter is Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Winnie Mughogho is a PhD in Economics candidate at the Queen Mary University of London and with the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics set out to measure the prevalence of IPV in the greater Nairobi area using an indirect method of a questionnaire called the “item count” list experiment.
