I’ve been reflecting on this past year. Truthfully, it’s been nice to step off the treadmill for a bit and really listen to my mind and my body.

Folk music is my passion, it always has been and making music with my husband during quarantine in Ireland was an absolute blessing.

The silence and forced stop due to the pandemic has reinforced the words of my old mentor, Vernon Mound, from the National Theatre in London: ‘there is more to he heard in silence than in words’.

Use this time to search deeper than you did before- and don’t be afraid of the stillness, embrace it.
This year I’m so looking forward to making more art, in whatever form that may be x
