This Mohawk Burlesque Dancer Wants to Decolonize Sexuality Among First Nations Women

Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière is the first Canadian and first Indigenous woman to hold the title of Queen of Burlesque. She uses her art to break social constructs surrounding first nations women’s sexuality and imposes news standards of beauty in the burlesque community.
VICE followed Lou Lou at home, and backstage during the biggest burlesque ball in North America.
