Tummy Tuck Journey | Episode 2: Surgery Day and Post Op Days 1-3

I had an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo of the hips, flanks, and back on October 18, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio with Dr. Deborah Sillins. Surgery Day and Post op days 1-2 are pretty much a blur because I was in and out of sleep majority of the time. However, the surgery went really well and my pain was easily managed. I ended up taking my last pain medication on the morning of post op day 3 before I went to my first post op appointment. If you are considering a tummy tuck or mommy makeover do your research and just make sure you're mentally prepared for what is going to happen. I was, and my recovery was better for it.
