The Tulip Poplar is called the workhorse tree for homesteads. It's name comes up during tree talk and edible plant discussions all the time. A true complete guide to tulip poplar trees and how to find yellow poplars are well documented on Youtube. But for me, I wanted to plant a few of the fastest growing shade trees I could get my hands on. That's why I chose the Liriodendron tulipifera.
