With their Tesla range of electric cars, they have completely disrupted the EV industry. They are the top dogs when it comes to EV vehicles. Their cars feature a much higher range than all of their competitors, clean and sophisticated design, powerful internals, and, most importantly, a full self-driving feature that you can’t find anywhere else. Let’s start with their batteries. While most EV manufacturers max out at 240 – 260 miles of range, Tesla’s top-of-the-line model X offers about 340-360 miles of range which way more than any other carmaker can even come close to. Due to their choice of going EV, they chose efficiency over luxury and so whether it’s the interior or the exterior, everything looks super clean, simple, and elegant. The dashboard also features a minimalistic look and a computer system. In fact, the computer system is so powerful that it can do full self-driving and play your favorite video games at the same time.

What makes Tesla’s batteries so superior? What special technology do they have that allows them to achieve such a range that no one else has quite figured it out? It all comes down to two things. Superior battery design and efficient engineering of the internals of the car. Their superior battery design doesn’t come from superior technologies. In fact, they are using the same old Lithium-Ion batteries just like others that were first introduced during the period of 1970 to 80. So, how come Tesla has such superior batteries? Well, it all started with a clever partnership with Panasonic, the largest battery manufacturer, and some brilliant design.

In recent years, Elon Musk has been making the headlines for his company SpaceX’s multiple advancements in its goals. Up until now, NASA has been sending supplies with the help of rockets and rocket boosters that become unusable after just 1 try. Each rocket costs millions of dollars and they just get wasted after one try. NASA even estimated that their moon rocket could even cost as much as $1.6 billion. Elon Musk’s SpaceX company actually made it possible to vertically land the rocket after it sends off the payload. This means the same rocket can be reused once again to deliver another payload. Not only that, they have managed to manufacture reusable rocket boosters that fall off after the initial boost.
