This customer got an elite contract to haul fragile electronic equipment so he needed an air ride trailer to haul equipment to the oil rigs. This trailer is a PJ FD 40 foot with19lb I-Beams. The gooseneck coupler is equiped with a Shocker Hitch. With this and the air ride system installed it's going to be the sweetest, smoothest pull you're ever going to get in a gooseneck. We've equiped this trailer with a Monster Hydraulic jack, PJ Trailers famous jack. They'll pick your trailer right up in about 15 seconds. It also has a 40 inch LED light bar. At night when you need to upload in the oilfields you can see what you're doing.

The Pro Maxx Gen 3 Air Ride suspension by Ridewell is the best air ride suspension we've had the opportunity to work with. It has 2 12,000 pound axles with electric over hydraulic disc brakes. You can see how this front bag is expanded. That lifts the front axle off the ground. When you're coming back empty it's going to save you fuel mileage and wear and tear on the front axle and tires. I see you guys wanting to turn around sharp.
If you're empty pick this axle up and jackknife that thing around. You don't have to worry about scrubbing on the tires. Save wear and tear on your bearings too. We have 17 and a half inch wheels so you can run a 16 ply tire. We've had many customers tell us they are getting 100,000 plus miles out of these tires.

At the back of this trailer we see it has PJ Trailers Monster Dovetail. It lets you put anything you want on it and it'll even let you haul 40 foot of drill stem on this trailer. Lay them down and you can put a strap over it and it's just like having additional trailer deck. If you need to roll something up here lay these down. That's why we have the 12,000 lb super winch up front.

We found out that you can no longer get Alko aluminum rims that have a direct hub center that will run on this 12,000 pound axle so we put stainless steel simulators.

In this box is the power for the jacks. The customer wanted to keep his chains in the front box so we moved the power for the jacks over to this side box. We can lift this jack up and drop it back down in just a few seconds. Jacks are rated at 12,000 pounds.

We put slide tracks on the upper deck on the neck so you can put pallets up there and get your load secured. What powers the hydraulic jack system is a KGI hydraulic pump. You can not find a better pump in the industry. We've been backing this pump since 2009. This is a Marine 12 volt deep-cycle Interstate battery. On the side of the box we have a trickle charger.

The Pro Maxx air suspension system is simple to use. The on/off switch, if you're pulling a trailer turn it on. If you want to dump the air out just pull that red handle. If you want to drop your axle push that valve. You'll notice I have the lift axle up now. To put all my axles on the ground just pull this lever. The pressure switch lets you set it and forget it. If it reaches 80 psi it's going to kick in until it reaches 120 psi.

In addition to the Air Ride suspension, we added a Shocker Hitch. You get out on the highway and get that chuck in the road. You can feel the trailer jerking you back. The air ride and the shocker hitch is going to take all the jerk out of there. You may not even know that trailer is on there. This is the sweetest ride in the business.
