Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh announced that under the state’s ongoing Education Revolution, the construction of the Shaheed Udham Singh State Institute of Medical Sciences in Hoshiarpur will begin from the 20th of this month. He also shared that the tender process for issuing the work order of Kapurthala Medical College has been completed.

These major initiatives by the Punjab government will significantly strengthen healthcare infrastructure in the region while also creating new opportunities for students to pursue medical education. Once completed, these institutes will provide advanced medical facilities and improve access to quality healthcare services for the people of the state.
