How to get here by plane! You can get here cheaper by bus, however, this is how to get here if you chose time over money ;)

Fly into PTY.

Taxi or Uber to PAC. ( Taxi's do the quick double honk to symbolize they're available, they don't use the light up numbers on top like NYC does )
There are only a few flights from PAC to BOC. So , depending on your connection, you may have to spend a night here in Panama City, which is a perfect place for a quick, fun, long layover. The airport is very small and has only a vending machine and a little café, so I wouldn't get there more than an hr before. They do require you to check your bag even if its carry on size.

PAC to BOC. Another super tiny airport with kids just playing soccer/football on a grassy area near the runway. The water taxi, located at the Azul Bocas Town Hotel, is only a few minutes away from the airport. You can catch a taxi for about $3. And Yes, they do take USD everywhere.

When you get to the hotel you'll board the boat with your luggage and hear off to your private island.

Azul Paradise has two scheduled boats daily to the remote side of the the island. If you miss the scheduled boats or just want to get to the island earlier, you can take a private boat to and from the main island of Bocas Del Toro.

The food at Azul Paradise is phenomenal. I would come back just for the coconut bread bruschetta. The eggs are super yellow, that just means they're real and not filled with hormones and chemicals.

Azul offers free stand up paddleboards, kayaks, and more!

Hope you enjoyed this tour! Share your experience down below of your stay in Panama!
