Israel’s Nahal Brigade fought Hamas terrorists in the Jabalia area in an intense ground assault. Patrol fighters seized weapons and destroyed enemy infrastructure. Two senior Israeli commanders and eight soldiers have been killed by Hamas in a complex ambush in the southern Gaza suburb of Shejaiya on Tuesday. The fighters encountered machine gun fire and anti-tank missiles from two different directions. In another video, Israel’s 188th Brigade took over the Shejaiya battalion headquarters and destroyed a tunnel after a Hamas fighter attempted to throw a bomb at the brigades. The IDF Chief of Staff held an assessment following the attacks in Shejaiya with the commander of the Golani Brigade as the fighting spills over into the Zeitoun area.
