Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, is holding what is expected to be her penultimate briefing.

Friday (13 May) marks Ms Psaki's final day in the role before she leaves for the MSNBC TV network.

Today's discussion, as it has been for the last few months, will once again be dominated by the war in Ukraine and the impact it has both in the US and in eastern Europe.

Ms Psaki is being replaced by Karine Jean-Pierre, who will become Joe Biden's new press secretary.
