VIVA RECORDS RELEASES RIVERMAYA GREATEST HITS

Viva Records welcomes the new year with a blast as it releases the much awaited "Rivermaya Greatest Hits 2006:The Ultimate Collection."

The album features the massive hit song "Posible" which, during its premiere at the opening of the recent SEA Games, drove the 400,000-strong Luneta crowd into a wild frenzy. "Posible" is also receiving amazing response from neighboring countries to which the event was beamed live.

Rivermaya is composed of Rico Blanco on vocals and guitar, Japs Sergio on bass, Mike Elgar on guitar, and Mark Escueta on drums. The legendary group that's been dubbed "Ang Banda ng Bayan" is the only 4-time winner of the MTV favorite group awatd (3 times in the Philipppines, 1 Asia-wide) and is generating a cult-following among musicians in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.
