Lake Garda (Italy) • A weekend at HOME

I went home for the weekend. And 'home' happens to be one of the most beautiful places in Italy: Lake Garda (il lago di Garda).
I grew up and spent most of my life in a small town on the southwestern shore of the lake, and going back is always like a journey in a time machine...back in time.

As the proverb goes, "Tell me WHERE you're from, and I'll tell you WHO you are"...

You'll have a walk around my hometown - Lonato del Garda - and its wonders: a beautiful medieval castle, a gorgeous piazza and the Cathedral.
