FBI Season 4 Renewed for 2021 as CBS Confirms Release of New Spin-off Series FBI: International

Hey, guys! With just a few episodes left before the third season wraps up in May, CBS has just renewed the crime drama series FBI for Season 4. At the moment, it’s scheduled to be released this September, barring any COVID-related production delays. All main cast members, including Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki and Jeremy Sisto are set to return. Such early renewal was very much expected: Season 3 of FBI is averaging impressive 11 million viewers per episode across all platforms, and it’s also #3 drama series on American television. The success and viewer appeal of FBI makes sense as the hit series comes from the creator and executive producer of the hugely popular, extensive Law & Order franchise on NBC. FBI, too, seems to be on track to become a big franchise. Following the debut of the original FBI series in 2018, CBS launched the spin-off series FBI: Most Wanted in 2020. With the renewal announcement, CBS also revealed that a second spin-off series, FBI: International will premiere this year. The new series centers on the agents of the International division of the FBI as they work to protect American citizens all over the world.
