"Phantom Lord" is the seventh track from Metallica's debut album from 1983, Kill 'Em All. This song is pure thrash metal. It is such an important song in the evolution of thrash and in the evolution of Metallica. For me it represents a moment in time that will never be recreated again. It represents the birth of thrash, and contains all of the pure raw potential that Metallica would eventually come to fulfill. I love this song so much, and I love playing it even more.
