His defensive abilities is what stands out to me the most as he is able to reach balls and recover that you would think he has lost the point on! Especially his defensive topspin double handed backhand on the run as he uses his exceptional flexibility to slide into the shot on the outside leg. While others would need to play a slice and take extra steps to follow through, he not only recovers faster but is able to hit a powerful topspin backhand!

Denis had to dig deep to gain momentum while showing off his iconic jumping single handed backhand!
