Analyzing Avalanche Potential Using the Raster Function Tool in ArcGIS Pro

Raster functions can be executed individually or combined into a raster function chain to streamline a processing workflow. This chain can be saved and shared as a raster function template, enabling others to apply the same workflow to their own raster datasets. Similar to how geoprocessing tools are used in models, raster functions can take the output of one function as the input for another, making them highly versatile. Raster function templates can also be employed to create image services with varying visualizations from the same raster or mosaic dataset. In this lesson, you will learn how raster function templates facilitate complex raster analysis and can be shared for broader use across different data types. In this video, I will demonstrate how to analyze avalanche potential using the Raster Function Tool in ArcGIS Pro.
