this was the very first song I completed on Expert on Guitar Hero xD
I'd also hear it on the classic rock station as a kid. Classic Joan Jett and the blackhearts song, but I just recently found out that it's actually a cover! Imagine being an artist where your royalty checks come in for a cover of your song. It must feel like you've made it. You not only had someone cover your song, but it was hugely popular, enough for you to live off of. You could totally rebrand yourself and do exactly what you want to do (assuming that you don't blow all the money that rolls in).

also bar 5 and 22,39,60,64 the 0 sounds like a kick hit, and not like the bass actually hits there. maybe they are xs

you can hear the bass pretty well. shows that only the guitar does the synchopated thing in the chorus
2:19 - right before the chorus repeats, hits 7-7, which the first one is clearly on the track, the 2nd is not.
