"Bring Me to Life" is a song by American rock band Evanescence. It was written by Amy Lee, Ben Moody and David Hodges and features guest vocals from Paul McCoy of 12 Stones. It was released in 2003 as the lead single from their debut studio album, Fallen, and on the soundtrack for the 2003 film Daredevil. A live performance of the song is placed on the band's first live album, Anywhere but Home.
"Bring Me to Life" has become a commercial and critical success. It is also the band's highest charting single, peaking within the charts of more than 15 countries internationally, and winning Best Hard Rock Performance at the 46th Grammy Awards where it was nominated for Best Rock Song at the same event. A music video was directed by Philipp Stölzl and shows Lee falling from a skyscraper. It has since become very popular. "Bring Me to Life" was part of the set-list during the Fallen and The Open Door Tour.
