The Neverness to Everness intro sequence alone makes a strong first impression: the city design, the atmosphere, and the sheer ambition of what Hotta is going for here are all immediately apparent.I'll be honest — going into this I had questions. Lots of them. Is NTE just another Genshin Impact clone? How does it hold up against Zenless Zone Zero's combat feel? Is there enough mechanical depth to keep someone who's been breaking Arknights Endfield with exploits for the past several months actually engaged? Does Neverness to Everness vs Ananta even make sense as a comparison given how different these games are at their core? I'm going to answer all of that through actual gameplay, not just reading a patch note to you for twenty minutes. One of the things NTE gets genuinely right out of the gate is platform accessibility. Neverness to Everness gameplay PC looks and runs great when you push the settings — NTE max graphics during this session so you can see what the ceiling actually looks like. NTE PS5 gameplay is also surprisingly polished for a launch day experience; console players aren't getting a watered-down version.
