Using Story Grammar to Address Sequencing, Wh- Questions, & Written and Oral Story Retelling

This session addresses a method of teaching multiple language skills - sequencing, wh- questions, and retelling - through the parts of a story (character, setting, problem, solution). This approach correlates well to the classroom curriculum, and it teaches children an effective visual associative strategy for success. It also involves teaching through a functional and meaningful context which optimizes learning.
