Determining How the New Maternal Floor Will Work for Labouring Women
In December 2014, a team of staff, physicians and patient advisors put to test for the first time the new design for Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan maternal floor. Using real data from today's labour & delivery and postpartum units, hour by hour, the team re-created their path but using the new design and family-centred principles of care. Watch how it unfolded. This month, another team tackles how care teams will work within the new floor. All of this is part of the work underway to prepare for the new hospital.
