Mixed Media Art for Beginners: COLLAGE Background from VINTAGE BOOK PAGES!

I LOVE creating mixed media collage backgrounds using vintage book pages! They're EASY to create, and SUPER CHEAP because you can upcycle old books from your local thrift shop for next to nothing. Some people might be horrified by me tearing up vintage books! I actually don't feel bad using these old book pages because I'm breathing new life into them by collaging art backgrounds. Plus, I only upcycle books that are in really bad shape- without a cover, and mostly garbage to others.

My favorite collage technique when I repurpose old books is to rip the corners off and glue them down as the new corners of my art. Grab you collage supplies and come play with me. I think you're gonna love this super fun and EASY project!!
