Here's the blotter update:

- As Extreme approaches its drydown, it's interesting to consider what it DOESN'T do. It doesn't resort to using a barrel-ful of musks. It doesn't scrape your skin with the woody-ambers that are EVERYWHERE at the moment (a fact for which I am especially grateful). It doesn't employ the services of more obviously Guerlain-esque resins and balsams. Instead, it sticks to its dry leather - maybe some patchouli thrown in there for good measure - and ends up being quietly commendable.
