Actively Learn Tutorial for Teachers
Actively Learn Tutorial for Teachers
In this week’s education technology tutorial, Sam Kary of The New EdTech Classroom shows you how to teach with one of his favorite edtech programs, Actively Learn! Actively Learn allows you to make any video, web page, or text into an interactive learning experience, and it’s a perfect example of how we can use technology to enhance our teaching.
In this video, you'll learn what the student experience looks like in Actively Learn as well as how to set up a free educator account. Then, Sam shows you how to find and use articles with pre-written interactive questions, as well as how to customize articles to add your own interactivity. Lastly, Sam shows you how to upload your own content such as web pages, pdfs, or Google Docs into Actively Learn to make them interactive too!
Actively Learn is also one of Sam's picks for Top Tech Tools for Teachers in 2021. Check out the video to learn about the other instructional technology programs on the list: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7etwbRgqsg
