As the forest's name suggests, it is strictly off limits to students — except in the case of detention, or Care of Magical Creatures lessons that occasionally take place here with Hagrid's supervision. Harry, Ron and Hermione were forced to enter this dangerous forest on more occasions than they'd like, and each time it was a thrilling adventure.

Someone or something is lurking behind the trees, and why are there Dementors gliding around? Maybe the Centaurs will help but they chose to watch in silence... No need to call for the Thestrals either, look, they are already here drew by the rusty sweet smell of your bloody wounds...

But dear traveler, don't be afraid. Your kindness, love and courage is your protection. Cast your strongest patronus against the evil, and follow the silver light that is brightening your path with your head held up high!
