John Kelly Wainwrights 2021 record attempt

La Sportiva ultra runner John Kelly has set of from Moot hall in Keswick in an attempt to break the record for a continuous round of the Wainwright, 214 peaks in the English Lake District described in Alfred Wainwrights seven volume books ‘A Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells’. The current record was set earlier this year by Sabrina Verjee in 5 days, 23 hours and 49 minutes.
Unfortunatly, after 3 days and 142.99 miles (230 km) the heat was hitting too hard and John had to stop for good.
Not everytime, it all works as planned but the effort has been still one of a kind.
